GoPro HD and Point and Shoot Anti-Vibe Pan & Tilt Camera Mount.Now with New re-designed base that is more stable and fits the GoPro even better. The GoPro Hero HD/Point and Shoot Anti-Vibe Camera Mount is designed for the AP/FPV Heli pilot that requires good performance from a light weight aluminum pan and/or tilting mount. Mainly used for tilt on helis but can also be flipped 180 and installed on a servo for Pan and Tilt applications (See item AVM-100GPU). This Anti-Vibe mount is designed from our very successful AVM series of camera mounts but with a larger bracket for attaching the GoPro Hero camera, Point & Shoot, Large FPV cams or any med/small camera. The AVM-100GP has a 1/4" centered hole which fits 99% of cameras and the same size used on tripods. The GoPro Hero has no mounting holes so we use two rubber bands to securely attach the camera to the T6 aluminum bracket which has proven itself time and time again to hold the Hero in place even in brutal off-road conditions. The AVM-100GP it is made from strong light weight 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum which will out last other materials even if abused. Weighs less then 1 oz / 26 grams without servos. Requires 3-1/2" (9cm) of clearance to the ground for good operation when used under aircraft and works great with our 6061 Tricopter, 500/600 Extended Landing Gear kits and the new 450 GoPro Hero kit . If installing on a 450, 500 or 600 class heli you must use optional frame mounting bracket part# AVM450BR or AVM600BR. Needs Micro Servo, recommended metal gear high torque.

The AVM-100GP85 with the GoPro and WDR600 and basecameras attached to 6061 Easy Star Canopy. Picture shows new re-designed base that comes with all AVM GP series mounts.This is Crash9's favorite plane set-up as it allows HD recording with the GoPro and the WDR600 for piloting.
Why not pilot by the GoPro with the TV output you might ask??. Mainly because the GoPro has to convert the HD Video to the lesser Composite Video so it can be sent through the wireless video system. The results are fair but not nearly as good as the what you can get from a regular video camera.
As you can see the from the above photos the AVM-100GP can be mounted in many types of aircraft and vehicles...in a cockpit or under a heli it's able to operate with no problems.
