Building the AT Pro-1000 Tracking Station
Note: New improvements to the ATpro-1000 as of March 2011 making it even Better and easier to Build!Note: New version No Longer has provisions for standard servo on pan as the larger HS-785HB is much better.Assembly takes about 30-45 minutes. Some trackers that came with servos may come with some assembly already like the base and tilt arm. Simply use this info to assist in finishing the assembly.
Step 1. Put together base plate as shown.

Parts laid out. Red servo horn comes from the HS-645MG spare horns

Install HS-785HB servo Attach bottom Tripod plate with `1/4" bolts
Should look like this when done
Step 2: Put together Panning Table

Parts needed install flat panning surface bearing.

Bearing installed. Cut down Servo Horn as shown Install with 2 #2 screws

Next install Panning Table to Base. Mount bearing to the base. Attached with 4 fasteners

Install servo screw. Turn slowly. Make sure it rotates smoothly with no binding.
If evidence of binding Do Not Force. Loosen the 4 bearing nuts and re-align. Check again and tighten. Step 3: Put together Tilt Plate Tilt Plate, balancing plates(pre Feb 2011) and servo. Cut servo horn. Hitec servos need the raised ring around the bolt hole trimmed flush.
Early Versions of the AT Pro-1000 Balancing plates are not used on new version which are now part of the tilting plate making it easier to balance and build.

Install Servo as shown Install 1/4" rubber bushing

Slip in bushing sleeve. Servo screw is put through the tilting plate

1 or 2 small #2 screw is used for holding the indexing at the horn. Spread Pan table insert 25mm bolt
Note: Some Trackers have a supplied #2x3/8 indexing screws that maybe to long so cutting down to proper size maybe needed.
Use supplied washer/spacers to keep a small gap between the moving parts.
