Building the AT Pro-1000 Tracking Station
( Hitec servo mod at bottom of page)
Assembly takes about 30-45 minutes. Some trackers that came with servos may come with some assembly already like the base and tilt arm. Simply use this info to assist in finishing the assembly.
Step 1. Put together base plate as shown.
Base plates and 4) 1/4" bolts, spacers, nuts etc.. Put 1/4" bolt through base, Slip sleeve over bolt
Should look like this when done Panning Servo and 4) fasteners
Step 2: Put together Panning Table
Parts needed install flat panning surface bearing
Bearing installed Cut servo horn where marked
Install servo horn to panning table.
Some servos and horns (HS-785HB) may need spacing like small washers between the panning table and the horn to make good contact with servos splines so check for proper fit.
Install panning table onto Base lining up servo.
Make sure it's centered. Install servo horn screw. Mount bearing to the base. Attached with 4 fasteners
Make sure it rotates smoothly with no binding
It should look like this when done
Step 3: Put together Tilt
Plate
Install tilt arm balance bracket to servo
Tilt Plate, balancing plates and servo Cut servo horn as shown
Mount servo horn to balance plate then attach to Tilt Arm Mount as shown. Can be changed if balancing is needed
Balance plate for opposite side Install 25mm bolt as shown.
(Can be changed if balancing is needed)
Install Tilt arm plate to Balance plate Install servo to Pan Table
Servo Hardware Spread Pan table insert 25mm bolt
Locktight nut and
do not
over tighten Finished

Hitec HS-785HB 360 Servo Mod for early versions of the ATpro-1000
On early versions of the ATpro-1000 tracking station bottom panning plate the hole alignment is off when using the
Hitec HS-785HB 360 servo.
The easy fix would be to enlarge the holes and use washers but another
cleaner mod would be to drill a 1/8" hole next to the hole shown in pictures above. Do Not drill or in-large the other 2 servo mounting holes
(Hitec label side)
as they are in the correct location for keeping the servo aligned with center.
Another simple mod for a better fit is to file the label area as shown. The label area is raised above the rest of the servo top and can cause a less then perfect fit when the servo is installed (as seen in picture 3). Simply file a small amount of bevel or the whole label area to gain a better fit.
This is not a big deal or needed for good operation but it looks Nice and flush now.
