The 6061 ARF Tricopter is designed with the RC pilot in mind that doesn't have the time or want to search out locating all the needed parts to build a Tricopter from scratch or end up with some eBay cheapy that won't lift any payload without issues and needed upgrades. The 6061 Tricopter is designed with lifting FPV/AP type payloads in mind. It uses Three Powerful custom wound 840KV brushless outrunners along with three 30 amp ESC's to keep you flying with authority. Then add in the Tough 6061 T6 Aircraft Aluminum Frame and our Custom wiring harness and you'll be ready for hours of flying time. Spend your time flying instead of sourcing out parts that may or may not work. Photography (AP) and FPV piloting in mind and they are much stronger then
using weak RC Heli tail booms or wood that some tricopters may use.
We know that there's all kinds of Tricopters showing up in the RC market place nowadays but we still don't see many that are designed for carrying anything more then the battery weight and the ones that can carry cameras are really pricey or cheapies that come with goofy-flimsy mounts that they expect you to put your $200+ camera on...Not us! We really fly RC and aren't computer desk pilots trying to jump on the next RC wave. You can trust the 6061 Tricopter from the first flight and on and on....
Propellers are Slow Flyer 10x4 2 blade as we don't recommend 3 bladed props as there harder if not impossible to balance. We recommend balancing props for best video performance.

New. Now you can get the 6061 Tricopter with the popular 168 KK-multicopter 5.5 Board. The multicopter board works as another option to the 4) 401b gyros we use to use. In fact they use the same gyros as the 401b but they have soldered all of them to a PCB. It has the latest 168 chip that allows the mixing to the ESC/motors so It doesn't require heli swash mixing and now any 4 +channel RC radio can be used. Connects directly to the RC Receiver with included male to male servo connectors. Can be re-programed with the included USB cable to update or operate other multicopters with up to 6 motors. Better set up as the gain pots are easy to adjust and much less wiring then before.
